Teams

Hello all! It’s Missy here, member of the J Harmon Home Team. I am not sure I have an official title.. Jonathan’s assistant, operations manager, chaos coordinator? Either way, it’s Spring Break here in Rutherford County and Jonathan is away with his family. So, as part of the J Harmon Home TEAM, I will gladly step in and fill the gap.

You see, much of my life has been spent with a team. As a young girl, I spent my childhood on 8th Ave, at the current Veterans Park, as a softball teammate. I’ve been on a softball field most of my life, either playing or coaching. Now, my youngest plays college softball, and she has learned her whole life, what it means to be a good teammate. I’ve watched her at every stage, whether it be sitting on the bench and cheering louder than anyone, or in the outfield screaming at the top of her lungs. Being part of a team isn’t always about winning, you have to come together in the tough times, too. In fact, I’ve seen several teams quit when they were down, but that is a lesson in itself. Character comes NOT when you are on top of the game, but when we are in the trenches together fighting to get out.

As a real estate team, the market goes to crazy heights at times, but at other times, times of uncertainty like our current situation, we are in the trenches together looking for our next deal. When you are in the heights, you should always be preparing for what’s next, so that when the lows come, you have at least ONE leg to stand on. That’s why I’m glad to be a part of this team. Jonathan ALWAYS has us thinking about what’s next. As a leader of our team, he challenges us to be prepared for when it’s so busy you can’t stand it, but also when it’s so slow, you wonder where that next check might come from. Real Estate is a fickle field most times, but the constant comes from always growing… either your contact list or your expertise and knowledge base.

I’m grateful that being part of this team means having support, shared ideas, and collective problem-solving. It creates a positive environment where everyone contributes their strengths, learns from each other, and works toward common goals. A strong team makes challenges easier to handle and successes more rewarding, fostering collaboration and a sense of achievement.

I think our team is pretty solid and I’m excited to see how many more people we can help in the coming year. So to you, how can our TEAM help you?
