J. Harmon Home Team would like to congratulate Samantha Black on being awarded our July 2024 Teacher of the Month award. Mrs. Black teaches at John Coleman Elementary.
Her nomination reads: “Mrs. Black is an amazing third grade teacher. She goes above and beyond to find out what her students are interested in and incorporate that into her lessons. She makes learning fun and engaging while also challenging the students. She has a passion for her students and education. My child has thrived being in her classroom this year. Third grade is tough because it’s the year that tests really matter for everyone but she never makes the students feel stressed or anxious. She teaches them what they need to know while also incorporating innovative ways for the students to use technology.”
