Her nomination reads: “She’s in charge of the Library at Smyrna West, the alternative school in the county and the Job Shadow Program with Smyrna Rotary. She works with students who have so many reasons to not read and she continues to engage them and build their skills in reading. She is also a huge advocate in the community for making books available to all. She is a member of the Rutherford Library Alliance, helping to prevent book bans and making books available to everyone. She is also a Blood Donor.”
