Greetings Friends,
I love snow days. I love that everyone gives you a pass if you just kinda want to check out on the day. I just had one of the more restful weekends I’ve had in a while. We had the “extra day” on Friday and I piddled around in the brewery and got some stuff done. Hung out with the kids with no expectation of going or doing anything. It was great. Pajamas, snow gear, pajamas again. On Saturday, we ventured out because we wanted to. Had a GREAT evening out at an Uzbek restaurant in Nashville called Osh. It was AWESOME to try something very different and fresh. I love giving my kids a chance to try something new. We played an escape game (and got out with 6 minutes to spare). We only had one major fight in that hour!! I call that a win! Got the house cleaned up yesterday and went to my parents for dinner.
It is rare that I am able to take those many consecutive days and just be with the family. I might get collectively 3 days worth of time with them in a week, but never consecutively. It is not the same. Collectively still feels rushed, or maybe even forced. Consecutive feels restful and natural. I wouldn’t trade my life for anything but it is nice to change it up. I am grateful for snow days as they force that.
I hope you had a restful weekend. I hope you built a snowman (we built two). We actually didn’t go sledding this time but probably should have. Either way, it was a good weekend.
Real Estate is in an interesting place right now. If you are curious about your current situation, whether you plan to move or not, and you want to just get informed, I am always willing and excited to sit and talk with you. No charge, no expectation, just conversation and education. Give me a shout.
