October Teacher of the Month: Lori Scott

J. Harmon Home Team would like to congratulate Lori Scott on being awarded our October Teacher of the Month award.

Her nomination reads: Mrs. Lori Scott has been an educator for 25 years. She has taught in both Metro Nashville and her longest time has been in Rutherford County serving middle level students. She has been an ELA teacher for many years then moved into an academic interventionist role where she served students who struggled with reading skills. Her love for students and learning is ongoing, and her dedication to young adolescents is amazing. She served as an instructional coach at Rock Springs Middle School where she supported teachers on instructional strategies, managing student learning, and providing opportunities for both students and teachers to succeed. Her newest role is an Assistant Principal at Rock Springs Middle. Her impact as an administrator is even greater, and her passion for education is commended. She spends tireless hours working with the Rock Springs Community to expose students, teachers, and parents to future endeavors.
