His nomination reads: “There isn’t a better human in Rutherford County than Dennis Blair. He is always willing to help out where he can. He has the biggest servant heart of anyone I know. After retiring, he went back to work at the city on an interim basis because they needed him. Not sure he wants everyone to know this, but he did all this work for us while taking treatments for cancer. He has come out and helped Leslie and I on several occasions and had never allowed us to pay him.”
