J. Harmon Home Team would like to congratulate Andy Miller on being awarded our August 2024 Hero of the Month award.
His nomination reads: “Andy is not only the traffic Sargent for SPD, but also takes care of all special event road issues in our town, Christmas parade, 4th of July, Halloween in the Park, many Front Street festivals and The Air Shows. He is also the fatality crash officer, that lately have been many of. He teaches many classes at the police department, at local high schools and at the police academy. But this good Christian after work he is the first person to jump in and help people or find someone to do so. Even when he was struggling with an illness he was he was praying for the nurses and doctors treating him.”
