Snow Days

I have grown a profound fondness for snow days. It used to be that I loved to play in it. I definitely still do, although a fall hurts more than it used to. But now, the fondness comes from something that triggered in me back during Covid. No one expects you to be anywhere. No one expects a fast response. You are home, with the family, just hanging out. It is a nice respite from the chaos of a “normal week.” Now, please don’t misunderstand, I am NOT good at sitting still. I get stir crazy very easily, but it is nice to not have to do anything. It is nice to just be expected to be home and hanging out. For a bit anyway.

I hope you have fared the weather successfully. I hope you have not had damage and no one hurt. I hope also, you have enjoyed some time with people you love (or at least like) and been able to catch up on some rest and relaxation.
