Her nomination reads: I came across a teacher to consider for your award. There’s a teacher at Blackman High School who voluntarily comes to the sporting events to take professional pics of the kids. I talked to her about it at my son’s game and she said, “I just know that some of these kid’s families aren’t able to hire professional photographers to take these pictures and I feel every parent should have a memory of their kid playing sports.” I thought that was pretty cool. She’s been doing it for years.
