As a long term resident of Rutherford County, Jonathan Harmon is knowledgeable and passionate about his community. Jonathan started his career as an educator, teaching economics and other business related fields at Blackman High School, where he also coached wrestling.

In 2009, Jonathan pursued his dreams to be self-employed and ventured into real estate. For more than 10 years Jonathan has been serving his clients, building his business and still can't believe he fulfilled his entrepreneurial desires and loves it! In 2018 Jonathan decided to grow and started building the J. Harmon Home Team of Keller Williams where he and his team are constantly recognized as top producers.

Continuing to follow his passions, Jonathan and his partners opened Cedar Glade Brews in 2021 which has become a premier gathering spot in the community.

He also manages his Murfreesboro Airbnb rentals “Downtown Art Loft”, “Downtown Hobbit HighRise” and “The Lively House”.

Jonathan is a huge supporter of local businesses. He has been known as “The Connector“. He and the team at Spread the Positive Network host two weekly podcasts. One called “Table Talk” highlights local businesses, nonprofits and servants giving them a platform to network and form partnerships with each other.

Harmon has held positions on numerous community boards and committees. Currently Jonathan serves as a member of Main Street Murfreesboro Board and Blue Raider Athletic Association.  Harmon has been a proud member of the Smyrna (Tennessee) Rotary Club since 2013. He also serves on their service projects committee and board of directors. He is a huge supporter of local non-profit organizations and has opened his home for the Main Street Summer Party, the MTSU Alumni Association Pigskin PreGame party, Linebaugh's Lively Night on Main and many others.

Jonathan’s most important job is being a husband to Elicia Fortner and the father of Jonas and Maggie and Step-Father of McCoy and Judson. Which attend 4 different schools in the Rutherford County School System. Jonathan is a proud Alumni and supporter of Middle Tennessee State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship and a master’s degree in Business Education. “GO BLUE!
