Enjoy the local theater featuring the Cliffnotes of Insanity or The Princess Bride in 30 minutes. This play combines the best of the characters and quotes of The Princess Bride with the fun and often quirky layers of improv to create a 30+ minute version of The Princess Bride adapted for the stage.

Celebrate Christmas Downtown – Murfreesboro Square

Gather around the historic Rutherford County Courthouse, for the annual lighting of the Rutherford County Christmas tree presented by Middle TN Electric. Bring your family downtown for dinner, the fun starts at 6:00pm with FREE activities for children and carriage rides. Stage performances begin at 6:30pm to include Santa lighting the tree. Santa goes into the courthouse for free photos from 7:30- 8:30pm, with continued activities and entertainment outside.
