As a long term resident of Rutherford County, Jonathan Harmon is knowledgeable and passionate about his community. Jonathan started his career as an educator, teaching economics and other business related fields at Blackman High School, where he also coached wrestling.

In 2009, Jonathan pursued his dreams to be self-employed and ventured into real estate. For more than 16 years Jonathan has been serving his clients, building his business and still can’t believe he fulfilled his entrepreneurial desires and loves it!

Jonathan and many of his clients describe him as an adviser, confidant, advocate and teacher. Jonathan Harmon is a licensed broker and a Realtor with Exit Realty Bob Lamb & Associates, with more than 700 transactions in 16 years as an individual agent, team leader and broker.

In 2018 Jonathan decided to grow and started building the J. Harmon Home Team. This dynamic group now consists of four team members, all of which share his passion.

Jonathan is a huge supporter of local businesses. He has been known as “The Connector“. He hosts a weekly Facebook live event called “This Week In Real Estate” with his friend and lender partner, Bryan Nale, that highlights local markets, national headlines and local happenings in real estate. Sometimes they actually stay on topic!

Harmon has been a proud member of the Smyrna (Tennessee) Rotary Club since 2013. He has served on their service projects committee and board of directors. Jonathan also serves on the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is the incoming president for the MTSU Blue Raider Athletic Association. Jonathan has also served the Realtor community by teaching at his office and for the Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors. He enjoys serving his community in many ways, including hosting events for non-profits. Jonathan has opened his home for the Main Street Summer Party, the MTSU Alumni Association Pigskin PreGame party, fundraisers for the Rutherford County Library System, Nourish Foodbank and several others.
